Volunteer at the E2 Summit

Fun fact!

Did you know research shows that women are half as likely as men to start businesses, yet women make great entrepreneurs? Are you interested in helping teenage girls learn skills to close the gender gap and own their economic futures?

Then volunteer at the E2 Summit: Entrepreneurship & Empowerment for Young Women!

Who is needed?

Women volunteers are needed on May 16th at Capital Factory to help with a wide range of activities for the day-long event that teaches entrepreneurship basics and other career related skills to teenage girls grades 9 – 11.

What are the requirements?

The only qualifications needed are a passion for empowering young women to be successful and an ability to give at least 2 hours of your time on May 16th. Volunteers who sign up to teach the JA It’s My Business!® sessions will need to attend a training session if they do not have prior experience teaching the program.  A special E2 training session has been scheduled for Wednesday, May 10th, from 9:30am - 11am at WeWork University Park, 3300 North IH 35, Austin, TX 78705. If you plan to attend this training, please contact Lauren Weronick at (512) 710-5437 or lauren@jacentex.org .

Where do you sign up?

Sign up here to volunteer. Opportunities include helping with set up, logistics, photography, pitch coaching, as well as teaching the JA It's My Business! program curriculum. Shifts range from 2 hours to all day.
