EY is excited to continue the tradition of honoring a student entrepreneur in Austin with a scholarship in connection with EY’s 2026 Entrepreneur Of the Year program. One exceptional JA entrepreneurship student will win a $1000 scholarship and this prestigious recognition to add to their resume!
Junior Achievement x EY Entrepreneur of the Year Scholarship (EOY) Youth Scholars
JA and EY are proud to continue collaborating to provide one exceptional young entrepreneur from each participating Entrepreneur of the Year (EOY) region throughout the United States with youth entrepreneurship scholarships of $1000. This funding can be utilized to support their educational pursuits, preferably paid directly to the post-secondary institution*.

About EY’s Entrepreneur of The Year Program
The Entrepreneur of The Year program has been celebrating the ambitious visionaries who are leading successful, dynamic businesses for nearly four decades. Founded in 1986, the program has recognized more than 10,000 entrepreneurs throughout the US and has expanded to nearly 60 countries globally. Explore the program history to learn more about the impact of these entrepreneurs. EY's US program consists of 17 regional programs whose panels of independent judges select the regional award winners every June. Those regional award winners compete for national recognition the following November at the Strategic Growth Forum®, where National finalists and award winners are announced. The overall National winner then goes on to represent the US at the EY World Entrepreneur of The Year™ competition the following June.
Application requirements
The scholarship is only applicable to students pursuing continued education in the 26-27 school year. It can be paid as tuition, or as funds to buy materials necessary for college—computers, textbooks, classroom needs, etc. If the latter for materials, the student must furnish a letter of defense regarding how the funds will be spent, including a simple budget.
Student scholarship recipient must attend the Finalist and Alumni reception scheduled for May 6th, in Austin- Location TBD. If needed, JA can help provide transportation for student recipient and guardian.
Winning student entrepreneur and guardians will be invited, not required, to attend the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Gala in the region in June, 2026 in either Austin or Houston, TX.
Applicants must have participated in JA entrepreneurship programs.
