It all begins in the classroom.

Junior Achievement has been promoting business education since 1919, first through an after-school secondary program, and later through in-school partnerships with educators. Today, through partnerships with school districts, our programs have expanded to blend JA's experiential learning with traditional education to bring relevance, authenticity, and application into everyday learning.

Junior Achievement programs support national and state standards in reading, mathematics, social studies, and work and career readiness.

JA prepares young people for the real world by offering experiences that help students in grades K-12 to discover and apply skills in:

  • Entrepreneurship

  • Work Readiness

  • Financial Literacy

JA's unique approach allows volunteers from the Central Texas community to deliver our curriculum while sharing their experiences with students. Embodying the heart of JA, our classroom volunteers transform the key concepts of our lessons into a message that inspires and empowers students to believe in themselves, showing them that they can make a difference in the world.

All middle and high school classes are invited to participate in JA Finance Park.
