Subject: Join Me in Illuminating Futures with JA
Dear [Name],
As a proud [board member or volunteer] of Junior Achievement of Central Texas, I’m excited to invite you to Illuminating Futures: An Evening with Junior Achievement, happening Friday, November 7, 2025, at PBS Studios in Austin.
It’s an inspiring night of storytelling, celebration, and community—all to support JA’s mission of empowering young people with the skills they need to achieve their economic success.
I support JA because I’ve seen the real impact—students gaining confidence, discovering career paths, and learning to manage their money and their futures. I’ve seen how it gives students the confidence to dream—and the tools to achieve. As Central Texas continues to grow faster than nearly any other part of the country, so must we. I truly believe in the power of this work—and I’d love your support.
Would you consider joining as a sponsor or introducing JA to your network? Your support will directly expand access for more students to benefit from these life-changing programs. Along with meaningful impact, it also comes with great visibility. I’d be happy to answer questions or connect you with the JA team to learn more.
With gratitude,
[Your Name]
Please nominate a visionary to be honored at Illuminating Futures.
Please take a moment to nominate a community/business leader you believe deserves this recognition. Nominees should be individuals who have influence in the Austin area, whose leadership uplifts others, supports youth success, and reflects the diverse communities JA serves. We will recognize two community/business leaders and one educator. So examples of these leaders are- Chris Turnley, Geronimo Rodriguez, Lourdes Zuniga, Colette Pierce Burnette, Michael Dell, Kendra Scott, Montserrat Fuentes, and Russell Lowery-Hart.
The goal of this event is twofold:
To honor an exceptional Austin leader who embodies the values and mission of Junior Achievement and plays a pivotal role in advancing the vision of our community.
To inspire broad community support and serve as a funding catalyst for JA’s growth—enabling us to deepen our impact where it’s needed most, in Austin and throughout Central Texas.
To guide your nominations, below is how each nominee will be scored on a scale of 1 to 5 in the following areas:
Community Leadership / Respected in the Community
Passion for promoting the importance of education and the free enterprise system
Inspiration to a new generation to prepare for their own economic success
Uphold JA values what the JA mission represents
Representation of the diversity of the students we serve
