Vision Statement

We envision a world where young people have the skillset and mindset to build thriving communities.

Junior Achievement of Central Texas (a member of JA Worldwide) is a non-profit organization that inspires and prepares young people for success.

We provide fun, engaging, and proven learning experiences in ENTREPRENEURSHIP, FINANCIAL LITERACY, and CAREER READINESS which prepares young people for the real world by demonstrating how to generate wealth and effectively manage it. We show students how money works, how education leads to career opportunities and how to apply entrepreneurial thinking from their own business endeavors to in the workplace. Students put these lessons into action and learn the value of contributing to their communities.

Junior Achievement’s unique volunteer delivery system provides community mentors with the training, materials, and support necessary to bolster the chances of student success. The impact is measurable, too. Students who participate in JA programs demonstrate a significant understanding of economics and business concepts.
