Thank you EY for volunteering to teach the JA Quick Pitch!

Employees from EY during their EY Connect Day, a day of service, partnered with Travis Early College High School and JA to teach the CTE (Certified Technical Education) classes about entrepreneurship. Travis classes participated in the JA Quick Pitch. The JA Quick Pitch is a specially curated program developed from JA It’s My Business to be implemented during one class period. It guides the student from ideation to pitch. This is a great way to have young people connect with what they are learning to how it applies if they are interested in entrepreneurship. This program also helped students through the concepts of design thinking and how an entrepreneurial mindset is an asset in any career.

“Sean Dooley, CPA, Danesh Guard and I led a group of culinary arts high school students through a Junior Achievement of Central Texas quick pitch project this morning. The students were very creative as they channeled their entrepreneurial spirit. Hopefully they left the class with ideas on how to #buildingabetterworkingworld~Anna Tallent, Partner at Ernst & Young, Central South Entrepreneur of the Year Program co-Director

Thank you to EY and the EY team that gave the gift of JA to the CTE classes at Travis Early College High School!
