Wooten Elementary School - JA in a Day, success!

Back in the classroom at Wooten Elementary!

Volunteers from many of our partnering organizations took over Wooten Elementary School on Thursday, October 27 for a day of learning and fun activities that help prepare students for a successful future. The lessons help students explore careers, understand money management, and learn about entrepreneurship.

“I want to thank you for today! I appreciate the extra support and flexibility that you provided my students, making this a positive experience for them. The students enjoyed the learning activities and were grateful for the treats that they took home.” Leticia Gutierrez, 3rd Grade Bilingual Teacher, Wooten Elementary

“Wooten Elementary has been participating in Junior Achievement programs for many years and it was nice to be back in the classroom again!” Joaquin Castillo, 3M

“It is so important to introduce students to money management concepts at an early age. I love sharing this information with them and helping them think about their futures.” Ali Wittich, JA Board of Directors
