JA IT’S MY BUSINESS® - Fall 2023
Program and Description: JA It's My Business! provides students an opportunity to learn how to turn an idea into a business. The program introduces students to the process of design thinking as a problem-solving process and provides an authentic entrepreneurial experience for students, with each session building toward a product-pitch competition.
Time Commitment: One hour per week for Six-week program with a culminating pitch competition.
Training: Attend a JA Program Training where you'll receive materials and training prior to class.
Start Date: September 15th
Volunteer need: 1 or 2 in-person volunteers per class.

JA COMPANY PROGRAM® - Spring 2024
Program and Description: JA Company Program unlocks the innate ability in high school students to fill a need or solve a problem in their community by launching a business venture and unleashing their entrepreneurial spirit. The program focuses on Company Ops, the majority of meeting time, where students build and manage their business. Meeting-specific, student-friendly materials and resources increase student interaction and emphasize JA’s experiential approach to learning. JA Company Advisors guide students through building and running their businesses.
Time Commitment: Meeting with your company one hour per week for 13 weeks.
Training: Attend a JA Program Training where you'll receive materials and training prior to class.
Start Date: January 2024
Volunteer need: 1 or 2 in-person volunteers per class.
